You might want to contact the Portland Art Museum. They have curatorial
staff that I am sure would be happy to advise you on how to store your
paintings. The curatorial staff can be reached at 503-276-4340 or you can
email them at <mailto:curatorial at pam.org> curatorial at pam.org

Subject: [or-roots] Containers for Oil Painting

I need some advice on how to store oil paintings.

I live in the greater Portland, Oregon area and am not sure how to store oil
paintings. I have about a dozen painting in various sizes and would like to
put them in storage at home.

Some were painting were done by my grandfather and others were done of
family members.

If containers need to be build then I would ask this wonderful group for
advice on who they know that could do the work.

Thanks in advance for advice.

Eugene
