you should do what i did. i am leaving nothing to the whims of kids. i have a floor to ceinling bookcase filled with books and pamphlets. all of those and my entire gene. program will go to the gene. soc. of oregon since all the names, when merged, end up in oregon before statehood. i have given my executor the power to distribute all pics of gr. gr. grandparents forward to any of the nieces or nephews that want them. one of my sisters is also included in this bunch. although my brother died about 2 years ago, his wife will forever be my sister-in-law and she knows exactly what i want done. my database is about 35-40,000 individuals and i have spent 30 years and a large quantity of money getting all this done. you need to cover most of this in your will and then sit down and write a letter to the executor. pick this person very carefully. then sit down with the executor/trix and go over it very carefully. if something is not clear to him/her you will need to re-write until your executor/trix understands completely what you want. my attorney accuses me of trying to control from the grave but nothing could be more wrong. i have a houseful of bev doolittle prints and antique and modern art glass and with any luck they will kill or maim each other trying to get to it. most of these people i have not heard from in a very long time so i don't care what they do with it.
gary in az. [good luck with this one]
