Haven't been able to locate the Roster that Glenn was thinking about but
here is what looks like the ultimate source for military info;
http://wiretap.area.com/Gopher/Etext/Misc/army.war.college
http://members.aol.com/thays46945/bnkw.htm
has a lot of the personnell, but don't think it is what Glenn meant.
Just to tease you here is a list of information on file at Lily Library
(whereever that is?)
http://www.indiana.edu/~liblilly/guides/camp/walter.html
Diary of Alaska and the Nez Perce conflict;
http://www.historycooperative.org/journals/ohq/106.1/venn.html
Here is a bibliography of Modoc, Bannock and other Indian conflict sources;

i/indian8.asc
HTML version of a PDF of everything you ever wanted to know about Indian
Conflicts and our Government 1862-1868

There are some references to the Bannock war and rosters in the following
site, but mostly it seems to be a mish mosh of information centered on the
surname Snodgrass in the pacific Northwest.

here is a long list of books available for purchase about the old west and
indian conflicts;

Do not remember what the website was that had a list of troops involved in
the Bannock war, maybe someone else knows.
