third item down is the link I use most, though there is information in one
search that isn't in another, the first two items are I believe only related
to recent history as is also the Blue book link, though the Blue Book does
have a lot of history/biography in it.

I just visited the Oregon State Archives website to search their
genealogical records index, but the site has been changed, and I no longer
even see a Genealogy link and could not find their genealogical index.  I am
not sure if the site is still being revised or what.  Does anyone know?
