[or-roots] Root and Hoskins

What county?  I have a lot on the Hoskins that are in my family, but
need to know the county to verify if it is the same ones.

In 1875 listed as legal voters on the census for that year were the
names of M. B. Root and James H. Hoskins.  

 

Root was 35 and Hoskins was 42.  They were cattlemen.  

 

Anyone know who they were and their families?
