For those with an interest in the Dixon family and anyone who has been
following our Or-roots Dixon story a visit to this site might be amusing;

In The Dixon line we Have a William Fooks Dixon who came to Oregon and
founded Marysville and Corvallis

In New Zealand the other party has a Walter Pemberton Fooks who Marrys a
Frances Dixon and some how he is connected to some Dixon's who are involved
in a community on Cornwallis Bay on the Onehunga area.

I think he has more parallels but you get the idea, of course this is
reaching and almost always will lead you astray. It turned out I WAS right
about the Ohio Melvins being in my line, they just weren't my ancestors.
