Ronda, Glen and everyone else who may have an interest in DNA and Genealogy.  The Genealogical Forum of Oregon has a monthly DNA interest group that meets at the GFO library the first Monday of every month.  The next meeting will be on Monday May 1 from 1 PM to 3 PM.  Our esteem leader in this area is Emily Aulicino.  From my personal experience I have found these monthly meetings to be very informative.  It is a place were individuals can ask any questions about DNA and get an answer in English vs science for those of us (like me) who had a difficult time with science classes in college or high school. There have been some inquiries about DNA testing on Oregon roots so I am posting this just to let you know. The April 25th General Meeting of the Clark County Genealogical Society will be on Genetic Genealogy DNA Testing a new tool for genealogists. I invite those of you who can or live in Portland or Southwest Washington to come. Our meeting room is next to the Society Library at 715 Grand Blvd. Vancouver, Wa. and we can hold up to 100 people. The Meeting is 7 to 9pm. Tuesday April 25th. Glen A. Jones Vice President CCGS 2005-2006 Portland, Or.
