[or-roots] Missing Death

I have a relative that I have not been able to locate a death date for.  I must be missing something obvious.  I'm pretty sure he died in Roseburg.  Below is what I do know about him.  Denise

Son:                                  21 Apr 1879   Alfred "Fred" Matthews (3514); Glide, Douglas County, Oregon.

Daughter:   25 Feb 1881-25 Feb 1882   Vida Matthews (3515); Wilbur, Douglas County, Oregon.

Son:                                  16 Jun 1882   Guy C. Matthews (3516); Oregon  (1900 Census lists DOB as Jun 1883 rather than 1882 and born in OR).

Marriage*                         29 May 1889   Anna Bell Shoemaker (3482) (b. between 1864 and 1867, d. 24 Jan 1899); Douglas County, Oregon  (Douglas County Marriage Records).
