[or-roots] SW Oregon - William Creek Cemetery

There is a Willis Creek Cemetery in Douglas County.  I have relatives there and a distant cousin I think has the records.  Let me know if you want her address as I don't believe she has email.

I did find a Williams Creek Cemetery (1961) Williams, OR 97544 On top of hill above old town of Williams (541) 846-7446 38S 5W listed on http://www.webtrail.com/sopafug/cemetery.html
but that seems to be to recent for an 1896 burial.  Willis Creek (1857) is older.

  Where is the Williams Creek Cemetery? Possibly Douglas, Josephine or Jackson Counties. I am looking for the grave site of Daniel S. Ryan who died 21 May 1896 and is probably buried in the William Creek Cemetery. He wife was Edmonia Cooper Ryan. His daughter, Grace Ryan was about 5 or 6 years old. It is said that Daniel was murdered for his wagon and goods he was carrying..
