I recall having been out to Janzen Beach once or twice during the 1930's. 
The street car used to
run out along the bluff on the inland side.  It was nick named the 
Tunerville Trolley by some.
Unfortunately there were some bad auto accidents near the entrance from time 
to time, people
turning into the oncoming traffic.
