Thanks Les.  I have no idea if I will get that way----kind of a distance 
away!!!  I wonder if there would be any listing in any newspaper?  Guess I 
could check the Family History Library list and see.  This guy has been a 
real frustrating search.  I found his granddaughter got married in Indian 
Valley, Idaho.  Have no idea why she was there.  His wife and the mother 
(his daughter) of the granddaughter  died the same day in Joplin, Missouri. 
The granddaughter's father split and left David not only his family to 
finish raising, but 3 grandchildren to raise.  David married again and had a 
few more children.  Moving to Oregon in about 1888.  Diane
