Hi Diane -
 
   I found a cemetery list for Pleasant View Cemetery in  Brownsville.  
Robert Elder is
there with several other Elders, but sorry to say, not Robert E. Lee Elder,  
though that
isn't an impossibility.
 
  In the event you don't know Robert Sr.'s heritage, his father was  William 
Elder,
born  1784 in North Carolina, died 1864 Overton, TN, mother Patsy  Moore, 
b.1875, NC.
 
   William's father was John Elder born 1756 in Pennsylvania,  mother 
Margaret Peggy
Hill, b. abt 1761, place unknown.
