There is also a Frederick M. Dotson whos parents are Henry F. Dotson & Rachel L. Tucker.
I cant find any of them in the census for Virginia.

  Hello out there -

      I am seeking information on the ancestry of Frederick Mortimer Dotson, born
  around 1832 in Virginia or West Virginia.  He came to Union, Oregon for a time,
  then continued on to Camp Creek, Oregon where he was residing in 1900 according
  to an Oregon Census.  He is buried, along with several family members, in the Eugene
  Pioneer Cemetery.  Thank you for your assistance.
