I looked it up again, it was a Margaret Olmstead that it says Standford
Howell married in 1852.  I don't know what to think about this one.


Dale, good call on the marriage index, of course the Howell marriage is
the
correct one, I sent a note to Ralph mentioning that there was a problem,
I
suspect when he was indexing that marriage by Bride he married her off
to a
witness or some such. I know how hard it is to do a data base like that
right and "airer phri" !!

I went back and hammerd at them in 1870 again with just as much luck as
last
time, I started out looking for Benjamin Wells and then remembered I had
seen the Howells in the 1880 Census and had your confirmation that that
was
them, then went back and went, "Gee, since this was Dale's query to
begin
with, no wonder he caught that!"
