Have you checked out family search for Mary Ann Shaw?   It gives info on her.....shows her two marriages and it shows 9 children total.  It does show John Shaw's parents where they were born but I think it said his father died in Fulton, Illinois, so there may be a connection.  It shows the submitter name and address.

  Mary Ann Shaw McCumber married a John Shaw after her husband James McCumber died.  Does anyone know who this John Shaw was?  Mary Ann Shaw was the daughter of John Shaw and Harriet (Nancy) Harris.  I know that Shaw is a pretty common name, but I can't help but wonder if they were some sort of cousins.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
