A question for the Miller Family researchers.

Family stories say that James H. Shortridge came to Oregon from Mercer Co., 
Illinois, in 1851 with the "Miller Wagon Train."  I know that there was a 
large Miller Family in Mercer Co. and that many of them went to Oregon over 
many years.

Which Miller group went to Oregon in 1852?  Is there any mention of James H. 
Shortridge in any Miller Family records?
