[or-roots] Indian Wars Pension

I have just found a postcard from 1902 that says my ancestor was being
considered for her application for pension under the act of July 27, 1892 as a
widow of Indian War service by L.D. Kent, her husband.  I did not know such
pensions were granted.  Has anyone else doing Oregon research found papers on
these pensions?  If so, where and is this like the Civil War Pensions?
