I will have to talk to my wife about them, I know one clan is a remnant of
the local native tribe, and have no idea how the name Butler comes in, the
other family included a guy that was once married to my wife's best friend.
I think both families have been here for a while, though the latter one
maybe only fifty years or so.

I don't know of any connections to the Reedsport Butlers, but anything is
possible. If their kin are from Monmouth and Polk county, they are part of
the group I'm searching for. Which Butlers are you familiar with in
Reedsport? I'd like to talk with them.
