Bev;

I can run up a map or aerial photo of your desired location if you'd like
and have the capacity for receiving 1/3 to half meg images, or if you don't
I could snail mail you a disk.

I don't recall there being a place you could locate property by plugging the
legal into a web page, but my memory isn't great.

I just tried to access the GLO records web page, it is down AGAIN, although
apparently this time maybe it is just down, not taken off line by some idiot
lawyer for BIA with his super hackers.

Okay, if you are into maps;

http://www.usgs.gov/pubprod/maps.html

is a link that will give you access to just about anything US and on into
the solar system, you want, pay for, print yourself, customize etc etc etc,

http://www.blm.gov/ca/pa/cadastral/plats.htm

is a California BLM website discussing some of the aspects of the
rectangular grid system, but not a pint by point explanation.

http://www.blm.gov/eso/kids_new/what/pages/glo.html

will take you to The GLO web page, or somebodies web page which has a lot of
interersting links including the one to the patent search site which is
currently down.

http://www.blm.gov/eso/kids_new/what/pages/histrec.html

which is either a link in the previous page or vice versa (???) I be tired
and just had a b eer on an empty stomach so memory isn;'t long enough to
remember what I be talking about from one end of sentanc to other let alone
how I got here, and it is all about how you can do genealogy from their web
site you can't access, or you can oreder a CD Rom from them with buncyes of
stuff on it.

I give up, gotta tke a bath an d go to bed.,

Les /c

Subject: [Norton AntiSpam] [or-roots] Township and Range Info

Some time ago there had been a discussion, if I remember right, on how to
find a piece of land based on the Township, Range, etc. I believe at the
time it was how to find land based on information on ODLC's. It seems that
there was a website that you could put the information in and it would give
the exact location. Town, etc. Does any one remember this discussion and/or
know the website to go to? I've googled til I've run out of ideas (and
patience) and would love to have other ideas.
