The picture I have is a photocopy. The information on it says:
Accession #975D001
Collection - Cronise
Photog-Tom Cronise
Donor/Seller - Cronise, H
Loc/Orig - 0007G051
Former Coll # 00000652
Restrictions - No Format/Size 23
Seq#017508
I hope this information means something to you. I would send you a scanned copy of the photocopy but it is a large file and I don't want to overload anyone's email. I am interested in getting a scanned copy of the original so I can make a print suitable for framing. Thanks!!!

Yesterday I worked the Oregon Historical Society Research Library and tried to find some info for you but did not have any luck, the next time I work or sooner if I get a chance I will do some more checking in some files I did not have time to check yesterday.

I will check to see what I can find for you, I am a volunteer again the 22nd of Feb. Most of our photos are catagorized by geographic area or by subject matter and the only list we have of them is a loose leaf binder catagorized as above.

I guess I should clarify some information. I am related to Don Alonzo Smith (dob 8/29/1840, death 6/30/1927) and his wife Susan Permelia Turner (dob 12/10/1844, death 8/11/1914).
Also, Thomas Zachariah Drais (dob 10/??/1847, death ??/??/1913) and his wife Lucy Mildred Skelton (dob 09/??/1848, death 11/03/1928).
All of them were early settlers in the Gates area and are buried in the cemetery there. I have pictures of all of them except Susan. Even so, I would love to find more photos. Thanks!!!

Thanks for all the interest. I am particularly interested in scanned copies of any pictures the library has. I hope to one day put together a Book of Rememberance for my children and would like to include pictures.
Also, I would like to know if there is a list somewhere of all the pictures in the library. If they have one picture of my ancestors, they may have more. I am related to the Smith's and the Drais' in the Gates area. I have found some pictures in the book by Cheryl Smith Copeland that she wrote about those buried in the cemetery in Gates. I was able to purchase a copy of the book on-line.
I also like to get good quality pictures so I can frame them. Thus I prefer scanned images. Thanks for all your help!!!

Yes we do charge $6.00 for mailing, I know that seems high to me, so it is better if a person has a lot of copies they need, that is why i said I would try to see what I could find and mail it myself to the gentlemen.

A photo copy of a photo is .50 cents but mailing is $6.00.
Glen,
Is this correct? OHS charges $6.00 to mail a photocopy?
I know that every charge in our state has increased, but this seems a bit out of line.
