Bonjour,

I hope I’m not being a pest, but I sure would like pictures of the following gravestones in Lincoln Memorial park. These are my wife’s great grandmother’s SEAL ancestors. A couple of years ago we visited Oregon City to see the graves of my wife’s Blanchard ancestors there. When we were in Portland we asked about the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, and couldn’t find anyone who knew where it was. We drove up to the Veteran’s Cemetery where we were informed that there was no such Lincoln cemetery anywhere around there. The nice fellow even looked for it in a morticians’ registry book they had, but it was not there! When we go home to NH we discovered that it was across he street from the Veteran’s Cemetery!

These are the folks we know are there and a couple in that family whose burial place is unknown. I would appreciate any SEAL stones you can find.

In the LAUREL SECTION:

Crimora Jenks SEAL d. 1935 Lot 64?
Robert L. SEAL (son) d. 1943 Lot 46?

UNKNOWN BURIAL PLACES:

Sally F.
Mary Elizabeth d. 1890
Lenora d. 1896
Robert A. d. 1890

Of course, I will re-reimburse any costs.

Your humble servant, &c., &c.,

Albert
