I have a giant favor to ask of Sue or some one else with access to
Ancestry.com;

In
1910  >  TEXAS  >  BEXAR  >  7-WD SAN ANTONIO
 Series: T624  Roll: 1532  Page: 103

Surname GivenName Age Sex Race Birthplace State County Location
Year
TACK  CHAS A  35  M  W  IL  TX  BEXAR  7-WD SAN ANTONIO  1910

things are a little messed up, I can read most of the record fairly clearly,
except the third person in this family group, but ven if Ihad magic eyes and
could clearly read the whole record, it still won't make sense, as I read
it;

Oops, I think I just figure it out, here is what it says;

Tack Chas A 	Head		m	w	35  M 5	Illinois	Missouri	Tennessee
	Chas A Jr. 	scribble	m     w     30  (?)	Illinois	Tennessee	Pennsylvania
	Dority	son		f	w	 4  M(?)	Texas		Illinois	Illinois
	(Dorthy?)
after I started this it occurred to me that if I just swap Chas Jr and
Dorthy's names it make a lot more sense as long as you move gender with
them. These are some of my Penn Tacks and they are giving me fits, I can
only find about a third of them, but with the help of on of the descendants
of the fellow below I am beginning to piece them together. What is really
screwy with this family is the places of birth are entirely scrambled from
what I would have expected, I thought Dad should read b. in Missouri and
Pennsylvania being apparently the place of birth for Dority's mother really
threw me off becasue I thought maybe I was attributing Chas Sr to the wrong
Tack family.

Censuses are so much fun. If anyone is still with me I have a different
favor to ask, to see if someone can locate;

Edwin Warren Tack b. 07/1867 Jerseyville, IL m. Augusta Jahanna Wilhelmina
Jahnke 01/15/1890 d. ?

He won't be with Augusta as he deserted her in 1910, but his Grandson I
mentioned above would like to try and trace him, I am pretty sure he can be
found in the following Census, but haven't confirmed that with the gson yet.
Be aware of the fact that he is highly likely to be listed as a Jack or Fack
or Gack or Lack Teck, Tuck Tuek or Zeck

1910  >  ILLINOIS  >  DUPAGE  >  2-WD DOWNERS GROVE
Series: T624  Roll: 285  Page: 104

Surname GivenName Age Sex Race Birthplace State County Location
Year
TACK  EDWIN W  43  M  W  IL  IL  DUPAGE  2-WD DOWNERS GROVE  1910

Thanks awfully

Les C
