Ronda;
Yes I believe I did find all of the stuff you sent, and Terry and I believe
Sue both also managed to run the guy down in 1939 and 1920. His grandson
John is very grateful for all the help; he now has a starting place to try
and develop his family history a little more. The grandfather abandoned his
first wife in 1910 and it is entirely possible though not very likely he has
family that none of his close kin know exist.
The overwhelming compunction to name repetition in that line makes it
interesting, the two John C's listed there are father and son. Henrietta is
another puzzle since I still have no clue who Mr. Dellmont was, their
marriage doesn't show up in online Illinois VR but then neither do most of
my family file records that I feel fairly confident took place there.
So it goes.
Thanks again everybody.

Subject: [or-roots] Tacks in 1880
Hi Les,
I found a John C. Tack in Jerseyville in 1880, but the wrong age, wife and
kids. I looked for all John and Marys in several different ways, and places
I looked for Margaret, Edwin and Warren, exact names and soundex; first
names and no last names, last names and no first names and couldn't find the
right family. Maybe Sue with her magic fingers can find them. =)
