I live in St. Helens,Oregon now but lived in Scappoose many years ago. My
grown children as teen-agers used to work for the Brock family candle making
factory off Dike Rd. then it burned down to the ground about 1987 I want to
say. I sure miss those candles the kids brought home, they were the best in
the world. Yes the Candle still flashes on & off at the top which is a
landmark. They do have a gift shop next to it.

Leslie, I just took a look at the blogspot and the big candle in Scappose
was designed by the father of a friend of mine.  Very interesting to me.
