[Harguess, Dale]

I have a lot of "Layfayette's" in my family, and they all came from
Tennessee through Arkansas to Oregon.  I really don't know too much
about Leonard Goodrich.  Only that he married my great grandmother when
she inherited her father's sheep ranch and then abandoned her a month
later.  After a year of him being gone she finally divorced him and then
promptly took up with another rat.

The goodrich children were born in Tehama County

Interesting.  My Markham was also from New York back in the 1800's.  My
great grandmother married a rat named Goodrich in the early 1900's in
Oregon.  I think his first name was Leonard if I remember correctly.
