Glen;
I will have to look at that I am sure. I did just solve one of my mysteries; I now have not only where and when Eva E. Lockwood's husband died but also (tentatively at least? we know how indexes can be) his father's given name and his mother's full name.
As I say about indexes, he is in the index as Wllace W. Llewellyn which probably explains why I didn't figure out where he was before. I got my clue when I stumbled across Wallace in the 1910 Census, he and Eva apparently having adopted one or more daughters as they have a Kenneth Fechter grand son living with them and an adopted daughter Florence. I thought I had figure out who Kenneth's parents were but typing this it occurred to me I didn't check to see how many children my candidates had and it doesn't add up. Sigh!
Anyway I then went looking for a Wallace Llewellyn and Wllace turns out to list Eva Lockwood Llewellyn as spouse which I have to believe makes him a pretty good candidate for my guy. Oh joy!

I recall seening this name in connection to the Umatilla Reservation, also my father sold his allottment to a couple with a name very similar. so be sure to check out the soundex spellings for the name.
I would say check with the Walla Walla Genealogical Society, but they went under this past year, do not know what happened to all there stuff, I know some was offered to other geneagical societies and some used to be at the Penrose Library at the Whitman College do not know if they still have it, maybe the Blue Mountian Genealogical Society in Pendleton might have something, their holdings are all at the Pendleton Public Library.
