If you Google Lost Valley Oregon 1880 Census you'll get a hit for Ancestry.com listing District 67 as Lost Valley and Pleasantville Precincts and District 68 as Springfield Precinct.? My guess is that everyone else here is correct and it is/was the Lost Valley near Dexter.

Anybody know where Lost Valley precinct was in Lane Co in 1880. I have Uncle
Ernest Conant's parents marry at the M.A. Handsaker house in Lane county in
1893 and in 1880 I find one Household with that name in Lost Valley and one
in South Eugene. I think all I found in 1900 was two in Eugene?

Lousey memory, I looked them up a couple hours age?
