Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip.   Tumwater , Washington is only 2.5 hours from Portland and there are a few good places to eat and gamble along the way. 

I know I did just that a month ago.

I've done it twice. Once it took only a week and the second time it took about 5 weeks.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a death record from the Washington State Archives?  I sent away for a death record about a month ago and I see that they have cashed my check but was wondering if anyone knew how long it should take?
