The Historical Encyclopedia of Illinois and History of Carroll Co by C. L. 
Hostetter is downloadable from google books.  It is 19 megabytes so to large 
to email.  I looked for the names you mentioned and nothing really stuck 
out.  Carroll Co is the only County that have references or resources so 
sorry about the no hit on the names.
