I seem to remember a while back when I was chasing the Kaiser family that
someone on this list had an interses in them?

I have Joseph R. Patterson b abt 1822 Indiana; ma Sarah Lucinda Keizer in
1845; Daniel Christian's daughter Sarah b. 1847 IL ma Abram S. Patterson b.
1824 Indiana on 8 May 1868 in Eugene. Since there aren't a lot of Pattersons
in 19th century Oregon I strongly suspect they might be connected. Hmm,
wonder if Stephanie already has my answer.

Anyway all of that is just an excuse for the following which I posted to the
Butler Co, OH list earlier after a dialogue about the fact that the
mother-in-law of one of Daniel Christian's daughters was from Butler county,
and the woman who put on IGI the material I posted there was also from Ohio.

Les

Oh my! Her last name just registerd with me; Kaiser.

Long involved boring story warning [you are warned, if you continue to read
it's your fault!]

My namesake for my middle name was one of my mother's first cousins Dale
Hansen who married a Mable Kaiser. Mabel's family were early settlers in the
area of Oregon's state Capitol and the above mentioned Irena's son Frances
Berrian married the sister of a woman who married Abram Patterson, another
Oregon Pioneer. While I was pursuing another part of either the Dunn family
or some other of Cecilia's Kin I noticed a Patterson living next door to a
Kaiser in the Salem area and it occurred to me to see if I had any
Pattersons in my family file. Sure enough, married to a Kaiser. So now I
have to hope that Shirley is on this list and maybe she can help me figure
out whether it all ties together. If I keep it up I will soon have most of
the people in Oregon before 1900 in my family file!
