[or-roots] Unusual first names

Not wanting to trump all the unusual names already suggested, here is one I
found in a
mortuary book that I am copying for publication.
Vaughn, Alsibatis
He was probably named after this person (found by googling) -- but why?
Alcibiades was an Athenian politician and general in the Peloponnesian
War. After the death of his father in 447, he was brought up by Pericles and
Pericles's brother Ariphron.
