[or-roots] Watkins/Copper Oregon

I googled the name and it said that it is in Jackson County.  They had a
map on the site I looked at and it looked like the town was in the
middle of a lake.

I have an obituary from 1970 that lists this person's birth place as 
"Watkins, Ore., which is now known as Copper."  I can't find either name
on 
my "DeLorme Oregon Atlas & Gazetteer."

Has the name changed again or is it a ghost town?
