As did my great-grandparents – Charles F and Emma (Trefren) Dunford – on Poormans Creek. Uncle Charlie, my grand-uncle, is described on page 103. The ranch house mentioned, on Yale Creek, was sold after his death and became some kind of summer camp.

Hello all....
The title for John and Marquerite Black's book is "RUCH and the Upper Applegate Valley". It gives an excellent history of the small farming town in the Applegate Valley. My great-grandparents, Robert and Frances Holzgang, farmstead there in the early 1900s.
