That reminded me of something I read about Francis Henry Frasier. They
were all Quakers and he was condemned for having committed adultery with
his wife's sister. I thought it was interesting that they worded it
that way rather than saying he had committed adultery with his brother's
wife. Kinda makes you wonder how they thought back in those days.

If I remember right my youngest brother's wife (who happens to be our
14th
cousin) has an ancestor whose sibling did that triple, ie 3 bros ma 3
sisters; then to add to the confusion, while still of breeding age one
of
each lost as spouse and the surviving wife married the surviving brother
and
had additional children.
Lets see, the additional children would be half siblings, and full
cousins
of all of their siblings, but the children from the original marriages
would
then also be half siblings through
I give up, I think that would make them quarter cousins or something??
