[or-roots] more census whining

I was talking to a volunteer who is involved at the Jackson County Genealogy
Society a few days ago. She said that the local society transcribed the
1930 census. She was rather new to this area at that time and couldn't
recognize or figure out some of the names, but she said local people who had
lived here a long time could recognize most of the names because they were
familiar with the oldtimer names in the area. So she is a great proponent
of having the transcription done locally for all the census townships in the
local area.
