[or-roots] magical aging

Paulette;

It sounds like she might not be in MO vital records, have you tried the
index;

http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/birthdeath/

I usually strike out there, even with some of my 20th century folk, but I
have also pulled a couple of records from way before I had any hope of
finding anything, I think the early stuff is just indexes?/

But even those help me fill in the blanks, when I am dealing with cousins of
in-laws of cousins I don't really care to do more than have something.

I too have a bit of a similar census "thing" - where my great grandmother
divorced in 1903 after 25 years of marriage and five kids (as per divorce
records Oregon State Archives), and married her cousin who was at least 20
years younger than she was. Admittedly, in her second marriage photo, she is
one good looking, and happy woman! But I'm still not quite clear on her
actual birth date in Missouri, and her age keeps changing in the census
records I have found.
