Like Denise, I have had Oregon families go to Whitman Co., WA, but I also have some that were there a little earlier than that.  Some stayed; some came on to Oregon.

I have noticed that quite a number of my "Oregon" families migrated up into 
Whitman County (1880's-1900's).   It is interesting to see the migration 
patterns for time periods.
