All –

We’ve just posted a new photograph collection to our digital collections website.  The collection consists of 48 images taken by photographer John A. Hanson, a native of Denmark.  Hanson was an itinerant photographer prior to settling in Moscow, Idaho in 1890 where he was in partnership with Henry Erichson.  In 1892 he moved to Grangeville and established the “Elite Studio,” remaining in business until 1910.  The photographs include images of towns such as Grangeville, Warrens, and Boise; activities related to mining and agriculture; and early transportation methods.

Please share with all who might be interested.

Thanks,
Linda
