  I have the documents on the 1844 wiss inf including the Capt and the whole regiment.

    I think it was called the war of the rebelion or something. have to re look up those papers they are here in my mess of resuing all my papers from the hwy after the person we hired wrecked it.

    Are you referring to the WISS 1844 thing?  The Civil War didn’t start until 1861.  The 1844 thing could have been Indians war.
