Medford is my Home town.
Almond St down where the red wood tree is, there used to be a house there.
We left when they made us move for the pillar for the freeway and mom said thats it we are leaving town. So we did. Then we came back and moved to Gilman's dairy then a few years later we moved to Yellowstone park and lots of little jobs in between.
I lived on May st first, also between houses the Riverside aprts.
Mom was a cook in the Owl Club and another place just down the block.
I miss it there.

Welcome Glen. I keep up with the news of the Rogue Valley on line reading the Medford Mail Tribune each morning. After 57 years living there it is difficult to give them up. My Cooper family were Early Settlers of Jackson co. and moved in 1884 to Baker Co. There two more lines, the Jessups and Clerkins came just before 1900, eventually most settling in Portland where I was born and raised. This genealogy research is a fascinating obsession!
