Lettie is acutally Lottie, for Charlotte A Simpkins in the 1880 US 
Census, Linn County, KS, Sheridan Twp,  pg 138B

Apparently she didn't like the "Char" bit

The rest of them raise some interesting questions about who they were 
and why thery were there -- questions I don't have an immediate answer 
for, although I do have some Ishams in KY in another branch of my family 
-- once one knows enuf, everybody is related to everybody else anyway ...
