It just says "lot 6 & 7" no street address or subdivision name? In the
subdivision category we have;

Just off th cuff I would bet on North Salem Town Plat

For what it is worth, googling North Salem Addition got me 8 hits 3 ea, NH &
NY, a google bool of Pacific reporter with a 1913 court case concerning lots
11 & 12 and this;

. . .  easter;y a;pmg S r/way line of South St NE to the intrsctn with W
r/way line of Front St NE thence southerly to the intersection with the
westerly extension of the s line os lot 7 block 21  etc etc

Now as you cann see from th above, just lot 6 & 7 tells us nothing, I need a
block number and a subdivision name to be sure, but if this amazing
coincidence happens to be the lot 7 you want, I think you arw out of luck as
it's in warehouses along the river.

Yes, I have the image but looks like invalid was crossed out with a line
going through it? I just found Felix Hogue/Hoge was living Jump off Joe,
Josephine Co., OR. later on.. I know where that is as I lived in Rogue
River, Jackson Co., for 12 years & make visits all the time to the old
family farm. I still can't find James McCubbins grave. I have his Estate
record but no mention of where he is buried. On the Estate papers it reads
him & Barbary lived on Lot 6 & 7 North Salem. I don't know where the heck
that is. Maybe he's buried on that land or died in a nursing home since he
was an Invalid.. I know the Estate papers were filled out in June 1877 & he
died Sept 6 1877 North Salem, OR. So they knew he was dying.
