Well, not surprised that Nathaniel was not in the book  but also 
disappointed. I have searched for him, along with my sister since 1972  and haven't 
found his parentage. Too many Cooper lines in upstate NY and too  many 
different spellings. Thanks so much for looking.

The book has several pictures, 2 at lease of James and one  of his wife.
No mention of Nathaniel. 
I found the book today.

Is this the book that you mentioned having James  Fenimore Cooper in it? I 
was interestedin finding my gr gr grandfather  Nathaniel Pada Cooper from
