      I am still pounding the books for Walter J Matney d. 1873 and only found a probate and never a burial.
     Same for Julia Ann Cooper I cant find any death on here, but there was a land sale in the 1900s by here so she must have lived long enough to get a death cert but I could not find one.
     How you doing ? I am just the same I bet, dealing with old age 65 now and we moved to the high desert out in the boonies and off grid, about as close to a pioneer as you can get in the modern sense we have a generator. Got 40 acres to play on and have found several spear points and some arrow heads and other stone things they used long times back plus and old homestead I have approx dated to 1903 on my place I place to figure out how to restore if I can find out who was there and what it looked like but I don't have a clue how to begin.
     Maybe there are people here who get involved in these things.
  Also found a set of bison bones out on a dune that was dated over 9000 years old its under Mt Mazama ash and sand before that, its possible it was killed but the early hunters who lived near like Fort Rock or maybe out here on the flats.

  Well that's about all I got for now , have to scoot I got a trailer axle to work on.
