Does anyone know Capt Jack's heritage?  Or a good place to look it up?  
The children of a chief of the Hot Creek band of Modocs, Old Sheepy, are 
described as cousins of Capt Jack -- wondering if this is through a 
wife, or through Old Sheepy -- if a wife, who is she and what's her 
relationship to Capt Jack?

If there any Modoc experts out there, I am seeking confirmation of Kitty 
Sheepy Skeen's burial site and whether there are any markers for such. 

Yes, I acknowledge that some of this may not be Oregon, but be Siskiyou 
County, CA, instead, but it does have Oregon connections also.  And 
Oklahoma.

Any and all hints and actual info appreciated,
