Dale if you give me time place and names you have for your gram I can check
it against what I know about the family; there are scads of them in
Wisconsin, as near as I can fathom all kin to my cousin Edwin though some
question I guess, the old "two (we think)  brothers came" story.

My great grandmother's maiden name was Pickett and I have never been
able to find out anything about her parents other than their names.

I actually ran across something I intended to post here the other day,
but
got side tracked and never got there. Seems I have some very distant
cousin
in the Portland area I never knew about on my dad's side. Pickett I
think
was the surname, but can't swear to it.
