Genealogist Colleen Fitzpatrick has established that Benjaman Kyle is related to a family of Davidsons who lived in Central Point from at least 1911 to 1915. She's seeking people who might be related to that family who would be willing to have their DNA analyzed to see how closely they're related to Kyle.

She knows this much about the family:


  a.. The patriarch, Thomas Davidson (1811-1876), left Scotland in 1853 and immigrated to Utah with his wife, Ann Davidson (her maiden and married names were the same). 
  b.. Thomas Davidson's son, John McNeil Davidson, died in Central Point in September 1912. 
  c.. John McNeil Davidson's son, Robert Holden Davidson, and his wife, Nettie Loraine Stevens, had a son, Vern Stevens Davidson, born in October, 1913 in Central Point. 
  d.. John McNeil Davidson's daughter, Catherine Mary Davidson, married Armine William Lewis in October 1914.



Kyle's DNA also matches people named Powell who lived in western Oregon including:


  a.. Alfred Powell, who died in London (Lane County) in December 1881 
  b.. Charles Leighton Powell, who died in Eugene, in August 1958 
  c.. Joseph Goble Powell, who died in Eugene, in December 1924.

  Davidsons have a couple of places, independence original land grand might then have something to do with a group who 
  broke off and moved to lane but there is also a group of them in DUFER OREGON OUT SIDE THE DALES , HAVE QUIET A 
  BIT ON DAVIDSON IF YOU COULD GIVE US MORE WITH THAT LINE
