Have you considered the possibility that the divorce also took place in Nevada? I don’t know whether there is any online database for NV divorces, but you could look.

I am working on this linage and need help. I have her birth and death certificates and her second marriage certificate. I know who her first husband was but what is missing is when and where did they get married and when and where did they divorce.

 

This is a brick wall that I need answers for to complete an application for a linage society and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Place: [A Guess] Shafter, Kern County, California

 

They had one child, who was born on 18 May 1941 in Kern County, California and she married her second husband on 16 Oct 1948 in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada.
