Now, to make this Oregon, has anybody mentioned Squire Hammond 
Applegate, Benjamin Applegates son?  Yeah, those Applegates, I think.  I 
have four other Squires in my data, and one Squirel, Rachel Squirel Jayne.

Actually, I'm a little surprised to find this Applegate connection in my 
data -- really I didn't know it was there, but he's the husband of 2nd 
cousin, five times removed.  Have recently been reading a bit about 
those Applegates in my readings on the Modoc War.  Data was in a 
download on the Casebolt family, my paternal grandmother's line, and 
also all my Burr cousins in Oregon.  Goes back to one Jonathan Stark.

I guess I have a bit more work to do here, just what I need.
