Thank you Denise for sending the link to the Rickard search, I will certainly try that for possible contacts. earlier in responding to some possible dates Sue had sent me I mentioned that given Tomasso's penchant for a good story, it was possible his "age" of 74 as reported in the obit had a fudge factor in it. Since I think the likelihood of two Thomas E. Rickards passing a way on the same day in the same town is pretty small it looks to me like his SSDI entry would support that theory since those numbers show him to have been nearly 80 at the time of death. I had no idea Social Security would have anything that fast.
Best bet is going to be the people Sue sent a note to on Ancestry. Hopefully maybe they will be some kind of kin.
